CRL33 Wide-format UV-LED Roll-to-Roll Inkjet Printer

CRL33 is our new generation wide-format UV-LED inkjet printer representing a breakthrough innovation in the roll-to-roll printing market. The release and take-up system enables stable and precise advancement of ultrathin flexible substrates for high quality printing. The white ink function creates possibilities for printing bright and vivid colors on transparent or colored materials. UV-LED curing system allows higher production capacity with lower energy, costs and time.

CRL33 combines high quality with high productivity on a vast array of roll media including soft films for indoor and outdoor applications. With highly reliable CRL33, you can not only produce traditional jobs as you do today, but open up new revenue resources with a variety of newly-developed application offerings.

  • Up to 1200dpi
  • UV curable ink, 4 colors/ 6 colors + White + Varnish/ Spot Color
  • Max. printing width of 3200mm (126")
  • Best choice for ultrathin flexible material printing

Advanced Print Head Control Technology

CRL33 is equipped with industrial DOD piezoelectric inkjet print heads featuring 600dpi physical resolution and minimum 7pl droplet with high jetting frequency.

Amica’s VDS (Variable Droplet Size) control technology integrates the print head control of 3-level different droplet sizes with the ColorPRINT RIP software for producing sharp images with smoother gradient.

Ultrathin Flexible Material Printing Creating More Business Opportunities

Utilizing environmental-friendly UV-LED curing technology, CRL33 supports a wide range of roll materials including soft films that may be too sensitive for latex or solvent systems that require heat to dry the ink.

With multiple significant technological innovations, CRL33 achieves individualized productions of advertising displays or building decorations, especially for making backlit light box film, suspending ceiling, soft film covers for sliding door, and even fashion crafts.

Superior White Ink Printing Expanding Capabilities and Business

Printing with the high density white ink, CRL33 offers bright and vivid colors on transparent and colored media. Thanks to the separate white ink circulation system, the CRL33 printer easily keeps the white ink properly mixed at all times for consistent and reliable printing.

Coming with professional ColorPRINT RIP software, the CRL33 printer enables over-printing for backlit applications on transparent materials, under-printing for colored materials, printing white out of images, or printing white as a spot color.

Outstanding Software Control Technology

Proprietary image algorithm enables you to print large-size images reliably without stopping.

Working seamlessly with the professional ColorPRINT RIP Software, CRL33 produces vivid colors and fine details with ColorPRINT's enhanced color management and raster image process technology to grab viewers'  attention.

Accurate Release & Take-up System

The release and take-up system of the CRL33 printer is specially designed for handling the advancement of ultrathin flexible substrates on a wide-format inkjet printer. The effective media path makes it easy to load heavy rolls tightly and straightly. It also ensures every step of the substrates is constant and completely avoids the touch between the print head and the substrate.

● The pinch rubber roller presses substrates tightly. The pressure can be adjusted for different substrates so as to keep substrates even before printing.

● Two servo motors precisely control the rotary movement of un-wind & re-wind drive rubber rollers.

● Un-wind & re-wind pneumatic shafts make it easy to load and unload heavy rolls.

● Depending on the stabilities of supported substrates, the torsions of pneumatic shafts can be adjusted to primarily control the tension of media path in case of media damages or deformation during printing.

Highlights

  • With the help of a microprocessor, Active Negative Pressure System has the ability of displaying the real-time negative pressure value and ensures high-speed and high-quality printing when print heads jet at higher firing frequency.

  • Based on an all-in-one design concept, the small and compact Print Head Maintenance Module allows automatic purging, wiping and capping for convenient unattended operation, ensuring consistent nozzle performance.

  • Vacuum Platen and Pinch Rubber Rollers ensure the perfect straightness of media feeding. Silent Linear Guide and Linear Guide Girder ensure precision printing and easy operation.
