To be successful in this role, you must be a motivated self-starter and self-learner with strong, technical, Electro-Mechanical troubleshooting and problem solving skills. You are someone who embraces challenges and areaccountablefor customer service, field service installation, training and overall quality assurance delivering industrial Inkjet printers. You have seasoned experience providing technical support and diagnosing, reproducing, and solving software, firmware and hardware problems. Sample processing, beta-testing new products, and researching new applications are all second nature.
Functions:

Resolve customer problems via the telephone or the web.

Research customer’s issues in a timely manner and follow up directly with the customer with recommendations and action plans.

Escalate cases to engineering team when the problem is too complex or falls out of your specific area of expertise.

Leverage internal technical expertise, including higher-level engineers, knowledge base, and other internal tools, to provide the most effective solutions to customer issues.
-
Participate in technical communications within the team to share best practices and learn about new products and also testing on new printer models, inks and heads.

QA testing.

50% Travel.

Daily activity reporting all tech support cases in database.
Job Requirements:

Proficient with Solidworks, programming motion controllers/PLC’s, automated system design. Machine drawings, AC/DC, overhead cranes, AC wound Rotor/DC Motors, AC/DC drives, Hydraulic systems sensors and controls, large machine tools, lathes, drives, actuators.

Proficient working knowledge of schematics, electrical systems, mechanical actuators, force and torque calculations, and troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems.

Basic Graphic Arts skills with working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or Corel.

Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills are required in order to work successfully with customers in high stress and/or ambiguous situations.

Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in a customer facing environment.

Must be experienced in troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of industrial equipment.

Strong aptitude for customer relations, customer service and communication skills.

Troubleshoot electromechanical/machine issues.

Ability to follow standard engineering principles and practices.
-
Creative approach to problem solving, proficient with Microsoft Office.
-
Associate Degree or equivalent vocational training in applicable electrical, mechanical or industrial fields.

Maintaining of demo and test facilities.
-
Experience in servicing inkjet printing or similar equipment.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Good color vision.
-
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including international travel.

Working knowledge of computers and networks.

A valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
-
A valid passport.
