Industrial CTS (Computer-to-Screen) Imaging System

The TE500 industrial CTS (Computer-to-Screen) imaging system is designed to directly print high-quality opaque gray images on emulsion-coated screens based on proven inkjet printing technology. As an advanced and cost-effective CTS imaging system in the current market, TE500 includes the robust, industrial TE500 inkjet printer, along with ColorPRINT RIP Software, Print Production Screen Software (PPS), and Printer Control Software (PCS).

As a digital imaging technology, TE500 removes the need of using, keeping and retrieving costly films, decreasing the overall cost of making a screen. TE500 also shortens screen burn time in half because of no waiting for vacuum drawdown and no glass to refract light. The potential for pinholes in traditional screen printing is virtually done away with. TE500 dramatically reduces the time and effort required for the screen preparation while delivering greater details and smoother halftone transitions.

When compared with other digital CTS imaging systems, TE500 is faster than other inkjet printers based on non-industrial print head and hot-wax printers. Moreover, hot-wax printers need to replace print heads frequently due to heat to fire the ink droplets and pay for expensive wax blocks. TE500 is also more cost-effective and compatible than laser CTS systems. It supports emulsions and standalone screen exposure units widely used in the traditional screen printing industry so that it can be easily integrated into current screen printing production lines.

ColorPRINT RIP Software

• ColorPRINT enables to generate screen .prt file and preset job properties, such as frequencies, angles and shapes of halftone dots.
• ColorPRINT offers screen size and image size settings, as well as print quality settings.

Print Production Screen Software (PPS)

• PPS offers screen job preview, such as different color channel preview, magnified dot preview and mirror 

   preview, so that users can double check jobs before sending to print. 

• PPS supports batching printing of two small size images on a large emulsion-coated screen to save materials  

   and time.
• Users can define templates of merging jobs in line with the actual screen sizes and image sizes.
• Screen printing critically demands the registration of multiple screens in the same job. Prt Merging helps users  

   to achieve precise screen registration for subsequent screen printing process.
• Users can freely match two color channels from two .prt jobs individually to merge according to the types of  

  emulsions and exposure time.
