As one of the most important ports in southeast China, Guangdong has witnessed a prosperous development in all walks of life since the reform and opening-up, especially in the clothing industry. Benefited from major breakthroughs in both productivity and the sense of fashion trends, the Cantonese clothing industry has formed a large-scale market and earned itself an increasingly decisive place in not only China but also the world clothing industry.
Even tempted by such a promising market, one of our clients based in Guangdong Province still felt difficulty in maintaining its business, not to mention expanding it, deeply trapped by lagging productivity and outdated printing technology. ‘We can only make narrow margin mass production of cut pieces’, ‘We tried to print on dark-colored cloth, but it turned out to be a failure’, ‘A lot of patterns are far beyond our printing capacity’, quoted from that client. For a long time, that client suffered from barely value-added cut pieces, surviving by small profits but quick turnover. The client made several attempts to usher in T-shirt manufacturing, but all failed to satisfy the increasingly picky customers, as the result of the lack of competent equipment.
Nowadays, AMICA’s TS series direct-to-T-shirt inkjet printer has put an end to the client’s awkward situation. Equipped with industrial high-resolution and high-speed DOD piezo electric grayscale print heads, TS series delivers vivid colors, smooth gradients and even company logos on T-shirts, realizing a maximum print resolution of 1200 × 900dpi.
In replacement of expensive screen and thermal transfer printers, TS series efficiently satisfies the needs of small- and medium-run garment printing, presenting itself as the ideal choice for personalized, promotional, and customized garments. With the help of TS series, the client successfully shifted from the mass production of cut pieces to the profitable T-shirt printing business.
TS series direct-to-garment inkjet printer adopts Double Table Design realizing printing two garments simultaneously, achieving significant increase in production and reduced delivery time. The featured Positioning Sensors indicate the middle lines of the two tables so that garments can be quickly positioned instead of manual positioning. Labor costs saved are reinvested to expand the reproduction.
TS series direct-to-garment inkjet printer applies high density white inks and works seamlessly with ColorPRINT T-shirt RIP software, offering bright and vivid colors on dark colored fabrics. It enables under-printing for colored T-shirts, printing white out of images, or printing white as a spot color, bringing unique designs into life.
Deeply impressed by AMICA’s advanced direct-to-T-shirt printing technology, the client made another purchase of the TS series printer to further secure the expanded production scale. This rapid response is not only a guarantee of the printer quality, but also an approval of AMICA’s superior technology. Both AMICA and our client believe that more and more TS series direct-to-garment inkjet printers will be ordered by the Cantonese clothing market and earn a bigger market share.
