The XB18 printer is an industrial high-speed inkjet printer for economic, efficient, and eco-friendly textile printing. In comparison with traditional textile printing technology, the XB18 printer has no limits for the number of colors, no needs for making screens or cylinders, no work for color separations, no requirement for minimum print run, and the ability to easily print complex designs.

As a result of the compatibility with water-based dye and pigment inks, the XB18 printer is not only suited for artificial fibers, but also used for natural fibers. The digital prints with the characteristics of abrasion-resistance, water-resistance, and color-fastness are widely used in clothing, home textile, and soft signage industries.

Equipped with 8 industrial grayscale print heads of 300dpi or 600dpi native resolution, the XB18 printer achieves 8-color printing easily, which is commonly used in digital textile printing. In addition, spot color and light color can be also well reproduced to fit for various applications. Features

Highlights:

	Belt Drying The temperature of a heating pipe can be accurately set between 25℃and 65℃, ensuring the belt adhesive to be under the expected condition. Belt Drying will be automatically switched on while printing, or switched off while idling.
	Convey System The press roll is easily lifted while loading textiles and its pressure can be adjusted for different textiles. The moving distance of 20cm guarantees to smooth textiles before printing. Belt adhesive makes the textile flat on the belt to achieve better printing effect, even for elastic textile.
	Negative Pressure System With the help of a microprocessor, Active Negative Pressure System has the ability of displaying the real-time negative pressure value and ensures high-speed and high-quality printing when print heads jet at higher firing frequency.
	Belt Washing System The belt washing system is equipped with a spray bar to spray water, two brush rollers to wash off the residual fabrics and inks on the belt continuously, a rubber wiper and a sponge roller to wipe off the water left on the belt. The slide drawer sink taking waste water is easy to maintain.

Linear print speed of up to 128.2m/ hr. Under 8-color printing mode, each color is jetted by 2656 nozzles. The maximum linear print speed is 128.2m/ hr. at the print resolution of 600 × 600dpi. It satisfies your demands for short- and medium-run jobs within short lead time.

Grayscale and light color printing. The XB18 printer supports to print with up to 8 color inks including light colors. Amica’s proprietary Variable Droplet Size control technology combining with light color printing allows superior quality prints with soft skin tones, smooth gradients, as well as crisp and clear small-size texts and lines. You will not only benefit from lower ink consumption, but also obtain high-quality final prints.

Advanced degas system. Dissolved gases will inevitably accumulate in the ink as a result of repeatedly pressurizing and decompressing the piezoelectric crystal. The hollow fiber membrane degas system of the XB18 printer efficiently eliminates the air bubbles that may impact on nozzle performance for consistent and reliable print quality.

Automatic Print Head Maintenance. Based on an all-in-one design concept, the small and compact Print Head Maintenance Module allows automatic purging, wiping and capping instead of manual maintenance.

Accurate Release & Take-up. Release & Take-up System accurately controls the tension and speed of unwinding and rewinding to keep feeding straight according to the thickness and elasticity of the textiles and roll diameters. Depending on the edges of rolls, Automatic Skew Adjustment Unit controls the unwinding roller to slightly move to the left or right so that textiles can be kept feeding straight.

ColorPRINT also offers a lot of settings to adjust your repeats, such as shift size, mirror types and the control of drop, slide or diagonal.

Seamlessly printing repeats. ColorPRINT can not only RIP overall image with many repeats for the ideal printing quality, but also RIP one repeat for high Ripping speed. Utilizing proprietary halftone algorithms, ColorPRINT will well eliminate seams between repeats. PCS (Printer Control Software) can also use Ripped data only containing one repeat for printing and fit for the length and width of textiles.

Powerful color management system (CMS). XB18 supports professional color management workflow and is compatible with various international standard ICC profiles. Users are allowed to establish, modify and manage ICC profiles according to their own needs, while consistent and accurate color reproduction can be achieved with high printing efficiency. Color book and special color. Color Book in ColorPRINT enables you to define a range of color swatches. After printing swatches on target fabrics and completing the finishing processes, you can choose your desired swatch and enter its color value into the Special Color Library in ColorPRINT or your design applications. All you do will empower you to print out exact colors efficiently and easily. Spot color. The XB18 printer enables you to print spot colors with the combination of 4 or 8 process inks or spot inks.
