XBM Series is an industrial high-speed inkjet printer for economic, efficient, and eco-friendly textile printing, available in three models: XBM18, XBM19 and XBM20. In comparison with traditional textile printing technology, XBM series has no limits for the number of colors, no needs for making screens or cylinders, no work for color separations, no requirement for minimum print run, and the ability to easily print complex designs.


As a result of the compatibility with water-based dye and pigment inks, XBM series is not only suited for artificial fibers, but also used for natural fibers. The digital prints with the characteristics of abrasion-resistance, water-resistance, and color-fastness are widely used in clothing, home textiles, and soft signage industries.XBM series is your ideal choice to satisfy the increasing demands for proofing, short-run, and medium-run jobs.

Accurate Release & Take-up System
Release & Take-up System precisely controls the tension and speed of unwinding and rewinding to keep feeding straight according to the thickness and elasticity of the textiles and roll diameters.

Automatic Print Head Maintenance System
Based on an all-in-one design concept, the small and compact Print Head Maintenance System allows automatic purging, wiping and capping instead of manual maintenance.

Efficient Drying System (Optional)*

The drying system is consisted of IR drying module and ink mist extraction device. The design of IR drying module enables stable and high-efficient radiation, resulting in rapid heat-up and uniform heating. The ink mist extraction device optimizes the interior environment and guarantees a haze-free print image. The Drying System can be opened enabling timely inspection of the quality of the prints.

* The drying system is only optional for XBM19/ XBM20.

Proven Belt Convey System
Belt Convey System ensures smooth and consistent feeding of textiles for high quality printing. Incorporated belt adhesive makes the textile flat to achieve perfect printing effect, even for elastic textile.


Built-in Belt Drying Mechanism ensures the temperature of a heating pipe to be accurately set between 25℃ and 50℃ to keep the belt adhesive under the best condition. It can be manually pulled out to facilitate maintenance.


Belt Washing Module washes off the residual fabrics and inks continuously and wipes off the water left on the belt. The Belt Washing Module of XBM19 can be pulled out forward for convenient maintenance with minimum operation space; XBM20 adopts side-pulling Belt Washing Module for easy maintenance.

Exquisite and seamless repeated images

Step & Repeat. You just need to add a single repeat into ColorPRINT, rather than wasting time to create huge files containing many repeats in design applications. ColorPRINT also offers a lot of settings to adjust your repeats, such as shift size, mirror types and the controls of drop, slide or diagonal.


Seamlessly printing repeats. ColorPRINT can not only RIP overall image with many repeats for the best printing quality, but also RIP one repeat for high Ripping speed. Utilizing proprietary halftone algorithms, ColorPRINT will perfectly eliminate seams between repeats. PCS (Printer Control Software) can also use Ripped data only containing one repeat for printing and fit for the length and width of textiles.

VDS Control Technology and Grayscale Printing. 

XBM series supports to print with up to 8 color inks including light colors. Amica’s proprietary Variable Droplet Size control technology combining with light color printing allows superior quality prints with soft skin tones, smooth gradients, as well as crisp and clear small-size texts and lines. You will not only benefit from lower ink consumption, but also obtain high-quality final prints.

Advanced Degas System Achieves Reliable Printing. 

Dissolved gases will inevitably accumulate in the ink as a result of repeatedly pressurizing and decompressing the piezoelectric crystal. The hollow fiber membrane degas system of the XBM series efficiently eliminates the air bubbles that may impact on nozzle performance for consistent and reliable print quality.

  • Negative Pressure System With the help of a microprocessor, Active Negative Pressure System ensures high-speed and high-quality printing when print heads jet at higher firing frequency.
  • Automatic Print Head Anti-collision Mechanism It stops the moving carriage immediately in case of emergency situations, effectively ensuring the safety of print heads. (Optional)
  • Print Head Humidifying Device The humidifying device sprays purified water vapor quantitatively and smoothly to the print heads, to prevent nozzle clogging during printing. (Optional)
  • Ink Mist Collection Device It gathers ink mist generated during printing for high-quality print image. (Optional)
