FR19 is a high-performance dye sublimation inkjet printer, with a maximum print width of 1.9m and a linear print speed up to 150m/ hr. FR19 is specially designed for high-quality and high-speed printing on sublimation transfer paper. Features

Highly Integrated Carriage
  • The large carriage is designed for more print heads and wider print width at each pass to make printing more efficient. 
  • Amica’s proprietary print head alignment method eliminates potential color deviations in bi-directional printing. Consistent color density and transition are attained with extraordinary reproduction, regardless of the dark/ gradient color, or the portrait/ bright patterns.
  • With the help of a microprocessor, the active negative pressure system ensures high-speed and high-quality printing when print heads jet at higher firing frequency.
  • The Electrical Z-axis Height Adjust Mechanism can control the height of the print heads accurately for printing or maintenance.
  • The automatic print head anti-collision mechanism will stop the moving carriage immediately in case of emergency situations, effectively ensuring the safety of print heads.
  • The integrated ink mist collection device improves the operating environment and protects the electronic circuit.


Enhanced Multi-station Drying System
The drying system of FR19 is consisted of 3 drying modules. The temperature of each drying module can be controlled separately. The efficient drying system achieves better ink absorption and ensures inks are dried before sublimation transfer paper is rewound so that ghosting or replicas caused by the migration of inks can be effectively avoided.




Automatic Print Head Maintenance
Based on an all-in-one design concept, the small and compact print head maintenance module allows automatic purging, wiping and capping instead of manual maintenance.


Release & Take-up System
Release & take-up system accurately controls the tension and speed of unwinding and rewinding to keep feeding straight according to the thickness of media and roll diameters. 


Real-time Safety Monitoring Device
2 yellow light curtain sensors monitor the printing area in real time responding to unexpected disruptions, assuring safety printing.

LED Viewing Lamps
Equipped with LED viewing lamps, FR19 enables timely inspection of the quality of the prints, achieving excellent print quality and accurate color reproduction.



Exquisite and Seamless Repeated Images

Step & Repeat. You just need to add a single repeat into ColorPRINT, rather than wasting time to create huge files containing many repeats in design applications. ColorPRINT also offers a lot of settings to adjust your repeats, such as shift sizes, mirror types and the control of drop, slide or diagonal.


Seamlessly printing repeats. ColorPRINT can not only RIP overall image with many repeats for the ideal printing quality, but also RIP one repeat for high Ripping speed. Utilizing proprietary halftone algorithms, ColorPRINT will well eliminate seams between repeats. PCS (Printer Control Software) can automatically duplicate Ripped data only containing one repeat for printing and meanwhile fit for the length and width of media.

Advanced Degas System Achieves Reliable Printing
Dissolved gases will inevitably accumulate in the ink as a result of repeatedly pressurizing and decompressing the piezoelectric crystal. The hollow fiber membrane degas system of FR19 efficiently eliminates the air bubbles that may impact on nozzle performance for consistent and reliable print quality.

FR19 supports grayscale printing, and Amica’s proprietary VDS (Variable Droplet Size) control technology combines multi-level droplet size control and ColorPRINT RIP software, allowing superior quality prints with soft skin tones, smooth gradients, as well as crisp and clear small-sized texts and lines, providing you with high-quality final prints.
