Features

Accurate Media Feeding System

CWR19's accurate media feeding system realizes unattended non-stop printing without re-loading media overnight. The feeding system is specially designed for continuously and accurately handling the advancement of ultrathin sublimation paper on a wide-format inkjet printer.

  • The rubber un-wind roller together with pinch roller makes steady and consistent feeding of ultrathin substrates, preventing creases, deformation and even scratches of the media.
  • Un-wind & re-wind tension bars maintain appropriate tension and proper evenness during media feeding.
  • Un-wind & re-wind pneumatic shafts with safety chucks make it easy and efficient to load and unload heavy rolls.
  • The un-wind & re-wind AC serve motors precisely control the rotary movement of un-wind & re-wind shafts for accurate, smooth and reliable media feeding.

Enhanced Multi-station Drying System Matches High Productivity Printing

The Drying System is consisted of 3 drying modules, and the temperature of each module can be controlled separately. The efficient drying system achieves better ink absorption so that inks can be completely dried before paper is rewound.

  • Pre-drying Module: dries ink after it lands on media for better color development.
  • Middle-drying Module: further dries the prints to accelerate ink fastness and brightness.
  • Post-drying Module: enhances ink drying for easy media handling.

VDS Control Technology Brings Superior Print Quality

Amica’s proprietary VDS (Variable Droplet Size) control technology combines multi-level droplet size control and grayscale printing, allowing superior quality prints with soft skin tones, smooth gradients, as well as crisp and clear small-sized texts and lines, providing you with high-quality final prints.

Advanced Degas System Achieves Reliable Printing
Dissolved gases will inevitably accumulate in the ink as a result of repeatedly pressurizing and decompressing the piezoelectric crystal. The hollow fiber membrane degas system of CWR19 efficiently eliminates the air bubbles that may impact on nozzle performance for consistent and reliable print quality.

Perfect and Seamless Repeated Images

Step & Repeat. You just need to add a single repeat into ColorPRINT, rather than wasting time to create huge files containing many repeats in design applications. ColorPRINT also offers a lot of settings to adjust your repeats, such as shift size, mirror types and the controls of drop, slide or diagonal.

Seamlessly printing repeats. ColorPRINT can not only RIP overall image with many repeats for the best printing quality, but also RIP one repeat for high Ripping speed. Utilizing proprietary halftone algorithms, ColorPRINT will perfectly eliminate seams between repeats. PCS (Printer Control Software) can automatically duplicate Ripped data only containing one repeat for printing and meanwhile fit for the length and width of textiles.

Printer Control Software (PCS) installed on a Host PC is designed for scanning inkjet printing. It offers a user-friendly interface to interactively control the printer, monitor printer status, and set printer options, such as the amplitude and pulse width of jetting waveforms and the temperature for each print head.

Amica’s PCS processes incoming RIP data and provides a software interface allowing RIP software to print jobs to the printer directly. The control interface features include print head cleaning, print head calibration, motor speed settings, and print head settings, etc.
