Gemini C324P is AMICA’s new generation highly-integrated UV-LED inkjet printing engine for short- and medium- run digital printing. As a digital add-on module, Gemini C324P can be easily and seamlessly integrated onto existing roll-to-roll transports, especially for flexo label presses, to expand your business.

Thanks to its modular design and flexibility, Gemini C324P empowers you to maximize your profits according to current demands and needs. It enables you to choose 4-color printing first, and then upgrade it to 6-color printing. You can also choose 216mm print width, then widen to 324mm. Gemini C324P with the capabilities of high productivity and high efficiency is the ideal solution to achieve UV label and packaging printing.

Key Benefits:

Arc tension control system The arc tension control system of Gemini C324P delivers highly-accurate feeding for a variety of substrates, such as paper, films, and foils, especially for ultra-thin films. The arc tension control system also contributes to keeping the optimized distance between print heads and substrates for better droplet placement.
UV-LED pinning curing Before overlaying follow-up colors or doing a full curing, UV-LED pinning curing process ‘freezes’ ink droplets to control drop gain. It results in superior quality images, crisp texts, and sharp lines on varieties of substrates, even including heat-sensitive materials.
Full automatic print head cleaning system Based on an all-in-one design concept, print head cleaning system allows full automatic purging, wiping, and capping for convenient unattended operation. Different arrays of print heads can be controlled separately for independent maintenance.
Height adjustment for print head module The print head module can be automatically lifted up within a distance of 80mm for routine operation, such as daily checking, manual print head cleaning, and upgrading.

Industrial high-resolution and high-speed DOD piezoelectric print heads combine excellent print quality and high efficiency with exquisite and consistent color quality, plus sharp, clear, easy-to-read barcodes, graphics, and texts. Gemini C324P prints texts small to 3pt and barcodes with crisp edge definition.

Inline Digital Varnish

Varnish ink provides a variety of surface finishes. Gemini C324P enables you to print with CMYK plus Varnish inks simultaneously. The overall label can be covered with a gloss or matte finish; or glossy or matte spot varnish can be added to some specified appealing parts.

Versatile White Ink Printing
The white printing option including Under-Printing and Over-Printing offers the perfect solid and opaque white ink layers on transparent films for “no-label look” labels, as well as metallic substrates frequently used in the cosmetic and medical markets. High quality images without white stitch lines can be obtained thanks to the Choke feature in the ColorPRINT RIP software.

Variable Data Printing (VDP)

Gemini C324P works with the MagicPage VDP software and supports printing variable data, including barcodes, serial numbers, dates, time, texts, logos, and images.
