Full Color UV Inkjet Printer for License Plates
TKLP is an industrial UV-LED color inkjet printer, which is specially designed and engineered for direct printing onto license plates (number plates). It is integrated with a variety of proven technologies, including the advanced full-color inkjet printing system, variable data process software, automated control, color management, and application oriented ink chemistry, which realize the reliable and efficient all-digital process for high-volume license plate production.
Thanks to plate-less, fast warm-up, and short turnaround time, TKLP significantly saves cost and time over traditional printing method and license plate making process. Comparing with thermal transfer printing, TKLP does not need ribbons or costly preprinted sheeting, plus the prints pass all the industrial tests without any fading or deterioration issues.
The TKLP printer is an ideal choice for license plate printing, from both short- & medium-run printing for customized printing, to mass production.

Better compatibility with Automatic License Plate Recognition
(ALPR, also called ANPR)
ALPR technology is widely used in parking lots, toll roads, controlled access, and vehicle alerts. The license plates produced by TKLP have the characteristics of sharp edges, saturated colors, proved light fastness & weather resistance, and excellent reflective performance, so that they are clearer to be readable and more durable to last longer.
Variable Data Printing
A vehicle corresponds to a set of license plates with various types of variable data, such as numbers, codes, text, graphics, and images. TKLP excels at processing and printing monochrome & color variable data on license plates.
Simple operations for spot color printing
TKLP empowers you to accurately reproduce spot colors with a combination of 4 or 6 process inks, or spot color inks. The designated colors of the brand, national or regional flag, special identifier, and logo are exactly as required.
Direct printing onto special license plates
TKLP can print on various shapes and sizes of license plates, such as motorcycles, bicycles, small trucks, showroom and special purpose license plates.
Precise full-color tone on non-white blanks
White ink printing, including under- and over-printing, can output an outstanding solid and opaque white ink layer, which is applied as a white base coating on non-white or metallic-finish plate blanks, like natural aluminum, gold, or silver blanks.
Better protection and gloss finishes
The top varnish layer protects license plates against chemicals, harsh elements, and premature fading of the printed image. For cost-effective plastic license plates, NuviINK Varnish can achieve gloss finishes close to those of aluminum plates.
The mechanics of UV LED lamps and its frames are designed to efficiently and accurately cure print outs as desired and needed, while protects UV lights from getting to print heads nozzle plate to avoid nozzle clogging.
The printhead maintenance module features full automatic ink purging, printhead wiping, and capping to reduce daily maintenance time, as well as keep print head in best condition and extend their life.
The vacuum table is divided into two independently controllable zones. Strong vacuum can be maintained when printing either a full table of plates or small quantity.
5L ink tanks with built-in liquid level sensors and low ink level alarm are used to support continuous mass production.
The printing table is equipped with ink shield, which is specifically designed for bleeding printing.
Both the X-axis and Y-axis are driven by linear motors to achieve more accurate printing at high speeds.

- Lipped standard oblong : 520 mm x 127 mm (20.47 in x 5 in)
There are 5 stack stations; each can carry 80 pcs of plates, 400 pcs in total.
Each stack of plates is individually controlled and monitored; plates are lifted and loaded automatically.
The blowing device separates two license plates sucked together.
The detection system monitors whether the vacuum sucker picks up the plate accurately.
Smart alignment device ensures precise positioning for loading.

NuviPRINT® PDF RIP software, embedded with native Adobe® PDF Print Engine (APPE), ensures fast and accurate output of PDF files. Also NuviPRINT® supports printing commonly used image files, including BMP, JPEG, and TIFF.
